In appreciation for your leadership with United Way for Southeastern Michigan and your membership in the Tocqueville Society we invite you to be our guest at a private breakfast meeting with Ford Motor Company CEO Alan Mulally.  Mr. Mulally will share his insights on a variety of topics including the economy, innovation and the future of the auto industry.

This event, the first in a series of meetings held exclusively for Tocqueville Society members, will take place on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the new Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in Detroit.

The event will also be an opportunity to bring along your friends and peers who are leaders in our community and are not yet members of the Tocqueville Society. Please feel free to invite one guest who will be interested not only in this very unique event, but who can also become a Tocqueville member to help impact our community in Southeastern Michigan.

Ernst & Young, LLP is graciously sponsoring the breakfast, along with the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel.

United Way for Southeastern Michigan

United Way brings communities together to focus on the most important needs in the community -- building partnerships, forging consensus and leveraging resources to make a measurable difference. If it requires fundraising, going to Congress, or just getting people to work together, that's what we do. We look at root causes - it's not enough to feed a hungry family, we look to change the conditions that led to hunger in the first place.
